A distinguished environmental and social scientist whose groundbreaking career seamlessly integrates climate science expertise with passionate advocacy for gender equality and mental health through Ghana’s Strong and Healthy Minds, Strong and Healthy Women (SAHM SAHW) organization. Currently serving as Program Chair for Business Intelligence and Analytics at POST University in Connecticut while maintaining his role as Visiting Associate Professor at the University for Development Studies in Ghana, Dr. Kasei brings exceptional credentials including a Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Mathematics from the University of Bonn, Germany, over 15 years of international experience managing $12.5 million in research portfolios, and recognition as an IPCC Review Contributor and UNFCCC Negotiator representing Ghana in international climate policy. His remarkable research portfolio spans 40+ peer-reviewed publications, supervision of 70+ international students across three continents, and leadership in multidisciplinary projects valued at $2.1M focusing on climate adaptation and sustainable development across West Africa, with particular emphasis on gender-responsive approaches that align perfectly with SAHM SAHW’s mission to break cycles of domestic violence through comprehensive mental health support and women’s empowerment programs.
