Founder
A dedicated professional in the nursing field, is the Founder of SAHM SAHW. She is the Vice President of the Association of Ghanaian Nurses in New Jersey. With a strong foundation in nursing, Dr. Baffour earned her RN, BSN degree from Seton Hall University, USA. Committed to Nursing Leadership excellence, she pursued her Master’s degree in Clinical Nurse Leadership at Rutgers University, USA, followed by a Doctorate degree in Executive Leadership from the same institution.
Further expanding her expertise, Dr. Baffour obtained her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) qualification from Wilkes University, USA. With her extensive education and passion for healthcare, particularly in mental health, Dr. Theresa Baffour established her private practice, T & K Baffour Psychiatric Recovery Center, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, USA. She provides compassionate, holistic care to clients with mental health needs.
Dr. Theresa Baffour established SAHM SAHW, a nonprofit organization in Ghana, to support young women battling domestic violence and trauma. She is committed to providing education on the stigma associated with mental health in Ghana.
